Students must maintain continuous registration in the 996 course.

  • GPS 960.0
  • GPS 961.0, if research involves human subjects
  • GPS 962.0, if research involves animal subjects
  • A minimum of 12 credit units at the 800-level, including:
    • FDSC 808.3 or an equivalent course as approved by the advisory committee.
    • 9 credit units of electives as approved by the advisory committee
  • FDSC 990.0 
  • FDSC 996.0 
  • doctoral candidacy assessment
  • dissertation defense
